We have a couple of users who have complained about Hypercard not launching. What they do is launch Hypercard and it starts to launch, its name appears in the menu bar in the center and then... foom, you're back in the finder again. Now, the weird part is that this is happening on different machines with different system versions. One user is having this problem running 1.2.5 on an SE/30 with System 6.0.5 installed. The other is running 1.2.5 on a plain SE with 6.0.2 installed. Both have more than 2 mbs of memory and both are using MultiFinder. Both have tried this without any INITS and cdevs. Anyone have any ideas at all what could be causing this? Advthanksance -A -- +---------------------------- Andy J. HyperCard 1.x won't launch if the disk it's on or the disk with the System on it (I can't remember which) is locked. We fixed this for 2.0... Kevin Calhoun Software Engineer Apple Computer, Inc.

Did you also fix the bug that forces you to reboot if you attempt to delete a locked card or enter data into a field of a stack on a locked disk? -- Jim Gish (jgish@gte.com) Principal Investigator Software Reusability Project GTE Laboratories Inc.
