Hi there can some one help us? We are trying to write a script that copies files from a hard disk to floppies and we want to check to see if the file will fit on the floppy before we try to copy it is there an xcmd or xfcn that lets us check the amount of free space on a disk? Also are there any file copying xcmds available? We have one but it has some limitations and we were wondering if there are any others. Please reply by email please to John_Mansfield@emal.sprl.umich.edu Thanks very much.

I've actually had several requests lately for file copying XCMDs without limitations. I posted one to sumex over a year ago as a "sample XCMD" for use with Think C (3 at the time). It's free for any use your heart desires, but I forget exactly where it's filed. If you have trouble finding it, send me a mail message and I'll mail you a copy directly. --Mark
