Hello. I have a question that I know can be answered quite easily by almost anyone with experience in making stacks that use search. I am writing a stack in which keywords will be put in hidden fields on each card. For example, in a disk catalog stack, I might have 3 hidden fields on each card: DiskNumber (which will contain the number of the disk), FileNames (which will contain the names of the files on the disk), and FileUse (which will contain keywords indicating the use of the files). Now, what I want to do is to have the first card have three fields which the user will fill in, and then have the script search the stack for cards which contain the keywords in each field. SO, questions: 1) How to I use search (find) for a particular field? 2) How can I report the findings. I do not want to skip directly to the card. I want to go to a scrollbox in which the names of the applicable cards are written. 3) Does anyone have a script/stack which does keyword searching I appreciate any responses. E-mail is probably appropriate. Thanks. Michael A. Schoen AT&T Bell Laboratories (provided for identification only) mas@ulysses.att.com
