[comp.sys.mac.hypercard] any idea what's going on ?

okay, here's the situation.
i'm developing a project using SuperCard version 1.5
i'm using an XFCN called SERIALHANDLER (from Dartmouth's XCMDS ver 3.1).

the syntax for opening the serial (in this case, the modem port) that i'm
using is :
get SerialHandler("open","A",9600,8,none,1,XON/XOFF)

this is on openWindow

the error that i get is : expected end of line but found something else

any idea what's going on ?
