Hi there, We have a Stack developed here to allow users, who are located all over campus, to book time on of our electron microscopes from their offices rather than come to our lab to book time. The stack resides on an appleshare server and the system works very well. however, since we are changing the data in the stack then there is a possiblity that 2 people will try to change something simulatneously with, I suspect, disasterous consequences. Am I missing something here ? Is there an easy way around this? Can the Stack be set to single access in some way. I apologise if this is a really dumb and much discussed question but I havent always followed this newgroup.
