[net.micro] Bondwell 14

(byte, byte, bite ...)

A friend of mine is planning to buy a Bondwell 14;
128K ROM, floppy drive, CPM/3, printer and some
other software.
This all for approximately $ 200.=

Is there anyone on the net who has any experiance
with such a machine? Good or bad? Is the price worth
the buy? How about obtaining software for it,
something like Turbo Pascal?

Any information or pointers are wellcome.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Amsterdam.

I've played around with it some. The voice synthesizer is more fun than
you would possibly imagine. Besides that, it is a pretty useable CP/M machine,
that ran everything that I tried on it (I assume then that it would run Turbo
Pascal, CP/M version of course). The Q key should have been a tab key, (look
at it to believe it), but that is just a nuissance. The reset sequence is
annoying, but those are only small complaints, the only ones I can think of.
I assume the price you meant was either $1200 or $2000. If its $200, GRAB IT.
If its $1200, its really up to you, but there is nothing that I found wrong
with the machine other than what I said above.
