I just tried to convert my Oracle for Macintosh, ver 1.2 (single user version) over to HyperCard 2.0. I had no luck. I converted the "Oracle System Scack" to HC2 and copied the XCMDs to the HC2 Home stack. (I guess that wasn't really necessary since they're also in the System stack.) Upon launching the System stack I immediately got errors as if some HC scripts had been corrupted. The stack did not even seem to be able to tell if Oracle was running or not. The XCMDs weren't connecting, I guess. I tried to get into the stack to look at the scripts, but received progressively worse errors until finally my Mac crashed - violently (video was lost). At this point I decided to back off and seek advice. Has anyone out there successfully done this? If so, how? Does anyone have any hints as to what might be the problem?
