After having read some of the posts here, and looking at some other things, it seems that the following things are true: 1) HyperCard 2.0 uses Palatino (24pt) in its Home Stack. Maybe in other areas as well. 2) The HD floppy distribution of System 6.0.7 has Apple's Palatino bitmap font and installs it for the user who uses Apple's Installer. 3) The 800k floppy distribution of System 6.0.7 doesn't have Palatino. Thus, since a lot of people are getting the 800k edition, we have people hollering for Palatino. The solution: Adobe's Palatino bitmaps are available via anonymous ftp from sumex.stanford.edu in the /info-mac/font/adobe directory, as are a number of other bitmaps for Adobe's typefaces.
