The modality of the dialogs in HC sometimes drives me crazy. I find it
very useful with a timeout option for the dialogs: if the user doesn't
respond to the "ask" or "answer" dialog they dissapears automatically and
the HT script gains control over the stack again. Of course this will be
implemented in HC 2.2 ! :-)
I once had a XFCN which generated dialogboxes where I could have an idle
HT script running *under* the dialog. It was rather raw: you had to make your
own DLOG and DITL in ResEdit, but on the other hand, I was able to put
whatever I wanted to it: buttons flds ctrls etc. It was great! With it I
could put a timeout into the dialogs However, the stack has disappeared and
I can't even recall the name! Help!!! Anyone who knows the name or even where
to find it?
