Welcome to the real world, pal. My Nisus 3.0 upgrade was only $35 and it came with a brand new manual. Does the upgrade from Claris? Or do you just get disks? So much for the micro-flame (it's only a micro-flame because you *can* get HC 2.0 through some user groups). Now a real, constructive question. I see in MacWEEK that the developer's upgrade will be available in January and cost $199. Now this I know comes with manuals -- MacWEEK says 1400 pages worth -- but what I'd like to know is if anyone has more details about it. Specifically, could someone from Claris comment? Will there be enough added value to make it worth spending $199, or will we be just as well off getting one of the Hypercard 2.0 books? Do you get support, too? I have nothing against spending some money to get useful development tools, documentation, and support. But since MacWEEK skimped on details, I thought someone in the know might want to help fill us in. -- Steve Baumgarten | "New York... when civilization falls apart, Davis Polk & Wardwell | remember, we were way ahead of you." baumgart@esquire.dpw.com | cmcl2!esquire!baumgart | - David Letterman
