I JUST read somewhere that you can create a postscript file from anywhere onto your disk by pressing command-K right after clicking ok in the print dialog box for the laserwriter. Since a postscript file on a disk is basically a text file, you should be able to then edit it. I don't know much more about this topic, but I would like to know if you get anywhere with this tip.
