I'm wondering if there are any externals out there that will allow me to talk to something on a serial port. Specifically, I want to talk to a modem. The minimum would be something that let me send AT commands and capture all info coming back from the modem. How about anything to do file transfers? Perhaps through the Communications Toolbox? I don't know much about this area. My only experience with file transfer has been to watch it happen automagically in my comm program. :^) In case it matters, I'm looking for these for a stack that would provide a front-end for a host system being accessed via modem.
