I have a copy of the "HyperCard AppleTalk Toolkit v 2.5", which is getting a little old (like April 1988). My Fall 1990 APDA catalogue doesn't show anything newer though. I need to generate/receive ATP packets from HyperCard, but these ones won't quite do it, so I'm looking to see if they've been updated yet. I need the capability of accessing devices in other zones, and more particularly of getting the zone list. The Readme file provided with the Toolkit states that "Future versions of the toolkit may add support for zones". Has anyone added this yet? Also, I need to generate/receive packets containing binary data, not just printable ASCII. Thus I either need a version of these XCMD's that can take/receive an encoded form (like HEX), or some other XCMD/XFCN that can act to perform the translation for me. Has anyone any suggestions on this?
