Hi, I got HC 2.0v2 from a user group, so I don't have the docs. I know I should get them. I've got Dan Winkler's book on the new HyperTalk which is very good, but it doesn't mention anything outside of HyperTalk, like using the reports. I've been able to do quite a bit with experimentation, but I've run into something that seems like it ought to work but doesn't. I've noticed that if an item description says something like "cd fld "hi"", then the item in the report gets any text styling of the text in cd fld "hi". But if the description is something like "cd fld "hi" of cd "there"", then all I get is the text with none of the styling. It seems to me that it shouldn't make a difference. This occurs even if the current card I'm printing is in fact card "there." I'm wondering is there's some other syntax I must use or something like that. Please e-mail replies and post to the net a summary. Eric Goodill, goodill_eric@tandem.com, Cupertino, California "Sucks Syntax" -- John Haskey
