(My previous posting on this subject seems to have confused some people, judging from the responses I got. Let me try again) I'm having problems with printing continuous tractor-feed labels with HC 2.0. The problems seem to be similar to those others have reported. Rather than try to explain lots of details about what I tried, let me make a flat assertion, and see if anyone disagrees: "It is impossible to print a series of labels with GRAPHICS if the height of a label is not an integral divisor of one of the standard page sizes." Before you rush to tell me I'm wrong, note carefully that I mention printing graphics, NOT just the contents of fields using the report format. The particular application I am trying to do requires printing disk labels (the Avery tractor-feed "one-across" version) which span exactly 3 inches from the top of one label to the top of the next one. I can't find any way to print them "continuously" without messing up on page boundaries. It doesn't matter how I play with margins, spacing, etc, or whether the "no space between pages" option is checked. I think this phenomenon is the "label creep" problem that others have reported. If anyone knows FOR SURE that there is some way to accomplish this feat, please post a response or send email. Thanks! -Bill Leue leue@crd.ge.com
