[comp.sys.mac.hypercard] When do you need to recompile XCMD's for 2.0?

Do all XCMD's/XFCN's written for HC 1.x work with 2.0? If not, what are the
criteria to determine whether you need to recompile the XCMD with the 2.0
libraries?

Most XCMD/XFCNs written in 1.x will work with no problems in HC 2.0. Only
Xs that relied on the internal format of HC 1.x or the format of a stack will
bomb out. In fact, I still write XCMDs with the old 1.x includes (since I
haven't written anything to take advantage of HC 2.0's new features).
