I have two stacks that I need to have open at the same time, both larger than the default 512x342 basic window, one is 640 x 480, the other 512x712 (full page for printing). A problem I'm encountering is that the second window is often opened as a non-resizable 512x342 for what would appear to be memory reasons. This is either a memory management bug in 2.0v2, or in some XCMD or XFCN or a really strange situation in the memory because I have HyperCard open in a 4 meg partition on an 8 meg machine because of some rarely used XCMDs that need alot of memory. Without having these run, it still acts like it can't find the memory to display the second window full size out of 4 megs. Other less- hungry XCMDs and XFCNs had run previously. This is intermittent. Sometimes I can get the second stack open full size with no problem. Other times I have to quit HC and start again to get both windows open full size. Anybody have any ideas?
