[comp.sys.mac.hypercard] Changing Stack into INITS

eidlheit@bimacs.BITNET (The infamous Gadi Eidelheit) (04/21/91)

        Hi there,
I recieve some useful hypercard stacks, so useful i want
to use them as INITS or better as DA. Does anyone knows of a
        program that do so???

                                        thanks
                                                Gadi eidlheit

Well When system 7.0 comes out (2nd week of May)
You can place the HyperCard stack (or its alias) in the Apple Menu Items
Folder inside of the system folder. This has the effect of placing the stack
under the Apple Menu (where DA's are now)
You can also place the stack in the Start Up Items Folder in the system folder
so that the stack is opened each time you start your Mac.

Can't you just wait?

You can use HyperDA from Symmetry. Makes your stack useable as a
DA. A new version for HC 2.x was recently announced.
