I have the set of stacks that come with the book Cooking with HyperTalk on my mac. There is an installation script that adds the stack to the message path. I want to create stacks that do not have the "Cooking" stacks in the message path. I tried to remove them by issuing the "stop using stack" command but these doesn't seem to work. I removed a statement from the home stack script that said "start using stack Cooking...". This seemed to work for a while but now the problem has returned. (I did not rerun the installation script of the Cooking with HyperTalk script after deleting the previously stated command from the home stack). Anyway whenever I try to open a stack that I created, hypercard jumps to a card in the cooking stack and gives me and error and asks to Debug, Script, or Cancel. If I select Script it opens the stack script of the stack I was trying to open, but displays a card from a different stack. The card it is displaying has to do with using shorthand commands in a script ( I wasn't using any of the shorthand commmands ). I don't know how to fix this problem. Any suggestions?
