Does anyone know of an XCMD which could be used to stamp disk images onto a disk, a la DiskMaker? I'd like to be able to set up a simple "insert your disk" tool to help us distribute System 7 upgrades this summer. DiskMaker & its like are, unfortunately, not very intuitive to the casual Mac user (you know, the person who had trouble with the Font/DA mover). Alternatively, is there an XCMD to *format* disks under the control of Hypercard? In that case, we could format & use a copy files script to reproduce the disks. I like this solution slightly less, as it leaves us vulnerable to corruption of the master files, where disk image data can generally be lost but not corrupted. (If you haven't tried a really big distribution, expect the worst: I've even glued write protect tabs in place, only to find them returned with the tabs forced back into the "write" position & files missing. The range of users is truly incredible.) Thanks in advance!
