[comp.sys.mac.hypercard] HC slow on an LC -- solutions?

I just got an LC (4mb ram, hard disk), and sure enough HC 2.0 runs slowly. I
recall a thread making its way through the net about a month back. Were there
any solutions? (Please e-mail reply if this is an exhausted topic.)
