How does one find out the current screen depth of a MAChine? I've got an 8 bit PICT resource which I want to show but it looks awful on a 1 bit screen. I would like to show a B&W version of it if the screen depth is less than 8. How do you do it? .Chaos ps Is there a FAQ for this news group?
