Hi! Stephanie is my name. I am a new Hypertalk Programmer. I have a very basic question about the Script editor. I have tried to write a code longer than one line. My problem is that I could not find a way (or a symbol which is similar in the Hypertalk text book to indicate the next line is continued from the previous line).' Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance !! Stephanie chuong.

Stephanie To continue a line in hyperscript on a next line, just press return holding down your option key. Hope this does the trick. -- ************************************************************************ **** read sage advice & humerous anecodote **** **** a sig. with an interactive component**** B.F. [option]+[return] will give you what is called a "soft" return. That is to say that doing so will not start a new "logical" line. One caveat, do NOT use a soft return in a literal text string. If you must, break up the line into two quoted strings and put the soft return between them, with an "&" operator to join the "literal" strings into one logical one.
