Hi there, I've recently gotten heavily into hypercard scripting, but am still very new at it. Also, I'm using something similiar called Spinnaker Plus. My main problem right now is printing. Question #1 -- Why does it take so long to print a card? Does it print pixel by pixel or what? Q #2 -- I really need to print a high volume amount of cards (~100), but my machine AND printer always die on the 2 card...is there a way to print these cards w/out problems? Q #3 -- I've just been handed a book on XCMD's for Hypercard, is there an XCMD or XFCN that I can write to overcome the problems I'm having with printing? Q #4 -- What are these printing problems that I'm having? I thought it was a memory thing since only 35 cards would show up on my spooler at a time, so last night I tried sticking a time delay after each 'doMenu "Print Card"' of 200 seconds, but when I came in this morning, it was still working on card no. 2 and crashed the printer. BTW, these cards are being taken from 3 different stacks, each stack stores info from a questionnaire, and the only cards that are asked to print are the ones containing questions that have been answered and comments if given by the user. Can anyone help? Their technical support is really bad and unprofessional. We leave messages on their answering machines but they don't get back. The last time we got in touch with them, we had to complain to the marketing dept so THEY could track someone down in support to talk to us. Thanks, Pomona Valero
