At the risk of asking something that has already been discussed in length (but I don't remember it), here's the scenario, and I hope to get more replies than I have for my other questions of late, so here goes: My other employer wants to get a feeling for when they should use HyperCard or Fourth Dimension, and what kinds of applications are best developed in each. Now, here's the catch: These are not stand-alone applications but front-ends. They both access a database server to act as a front end. I don't care about color in 4D because with AddMotion's Xternals I can make an application that will blow 4D away every time. I also don't need generic pros and cons, but input from people who have used both and have found that they like one for one type of environment, one for another, etc. Thanks a lot, Mikey.
