Steve Jackson at BYUETIBM.BITNET (I assume that's Brigham Young University?) decided he didn't want a mailing list address forwarded through his system anymore. Rather than requesting some change he simply began forwarding every message back to the entire INFO-FUTURES list (around 250 people plus USENET.) I am attempting to get information from him to find this entry since it's not at all obvious which one needs to be changed. I would suggest removing any address referencing BYUTEIBM.BITNET from all mailing lists until this organization can assure the network that responsible administration has been restored to this node (not to mention saving yourself from this kind of abuse.) In fact, being as BYUTEIBM does not appear anywhere in my mailing list it might simply be BITNET's own internal choice of routing which is causing this problem, very disturbing. Attached is an interchange with him which should make clear his purely malicious intentions... -Barry Shein From: BYUETIBM.BITNET!SEJ@talcott.harvard.edu Date: Sat, 14 Jan 89 16:31:06 MST Subject: Re: Undelivered mail To: <encore!pinocchio!bzs@harvunxw.BITNET> In-Reply-To: Your message of Sat, 14 Jan 89 16:25:21 MST > > >What's going on here?
