[comp.society.futures] Cherokee

Peter,

I believe the written form of Cherokee was developed by George
Guest, Jr./Sequoyah, a half-Indian/half Caucasian for whom
Sequoyah redwoods are named.

If I recall, it had 30 letters. For a time (and maybe to this
day), the Cherokee had their own newspaper in their own language.

For a taxless America,

Jeff Daiell
