[comp.society.futures] Music Algorithms

                I am trying to find information on algorithms
        which generate music.  If anyone knows where to
        find such information please tell me.
        I have heard computer programs exist which can
        generate music, but I can't seem to locate
        information on how it is done.  Thanks in advance.
