Help wanted. I am working in software tools department at Dr. Hell GmbH, Kiel, West Germany. In a paper by Barry Boehm (IEEE Trans. Soft. Eng., Oct. 1988) I came across the following reference: E. Frewin, P.Hamer, B.Kitchenham, N.Roos, L.Wood, "Quality measurement and modeling - State of the art report" ESPRIT Rep. REQUEST/STC-gdf/001/51/001/QL-RP/00.7, July 1985. I tried my best, but I was not able to obtain the article. Has anybody an idea how could I get a copy of it? Can it still be considered as "state fo the art"? Anyway: is it possible or realistic to measure the software quality? I am rather sceptic about McCabe, Halstead and the lot. I guess there have been discussions on this topic before on this platform but I missed them. I am new to email. One of the reasons for buying a modem for my atari-st was the problem above (OOPS, really??). Thanks.
