I have noticed that most of the things discussed on this board are only vaguely related to cyberpunk. I know I have also posted some articles on these subjects, but that was only because there was nothing else going on, and anyway my articles were only a few lines. By "these subjects" I mean things like: favorite junk foods, favorite kinds of sunglasses, favorite kinds of jeans, favorite kinds of music. The newsgroup is starting to sound like the soc.singles board. Maybe there is just not enough cyberpunk that has been widely read, besides Gibson's work, for a continuing discussion, yet. / \ *===)================- Kevin Cherkauer -================(===* \ / ...![ames,rutgers,boulder,decvax,various others]!sunybcs!ugcherk

This newsgroup has really made me sad. I certainly didnt expect to engage in the arguments for or against Bauhaus as being representative music for cyberpunk. geesh. tom hajdu music dept. princton university
