[alt.cyberpunk] cyberpunk hardware

At the risk of sounding like a heretic, I'll pose a question: why
cyberspace? What could a consensual hallucination as a means of information
exchange offer that couldn't be more economically provided by less flashy
means (telnet, f'rinstance)?

Well, it appears that we (Karl and I) are now the proud authors of the first
cyberpunk video game. It didn't start that way, but Microillusions wrote a
corny but appropriate cyberpunk background for it and put it in the manual.

Look out for "Tracers", coming soon to an Amiga near you.

So, in answer to the question: what does cyberspace look like? It looks like
a video game. :->.
