You mean, we dont have an endless cycle of stereotypes ?
Doesn't each clique just have its own stereotyped image
of its own group of victims and persecutors.

Athletes have a stereotyped image of the "Nerds" that they 
persecute who in turn have a stereotyped image of the "Jocks"
that persecute them.

The thing to remember is that progress (in the human form) can
probably be measured by how completely the upper levels of 
society persecute the lower levels. This is just part of 
human nature, most people abuse those people they have any
power over because it makes their own pitiful, selfish
existance seem more worth while.

Thats why I returned to the world of ivory towers, I love 
academia.
