Hello, I need some information for a short story that I'm writing, and I thought maybe someone reading alt.drugs might know the answer. How much does 1 kg. of hashish cost? The cost would be what a smuggler would pay for the drug with the intent to take it across a border and sell it. Additionally, what would the "street value" of the same drug be? Since the story takes place in Europe, I assume the source for the drug would be either Morocco or Turkey. Does the price of drugs differ in the U.S. and in Europe. If so, what is the price of the drug in both locations? Finally, since I've only seen this drug in small quantities, how large is a 1 kg. package of the narcotic (e.g. does it fill the same amount of space as an equal weight of flour? sugar?, etc.). If you know the answer to any or all of these questions, pleas e-mail me a response; our news service here tends to be very flakey. If there's sufficient interest I can post a summary to the Net.
