I've just been informed by a distributor that the Intel 2920 signal processing microcomputer has been discontinued. As we still have application for these, I'm looking for a source. Does anyone out there have any they may be willing to part with or know of a vendor that might have some left on his shelves? We use them to teach digital signal processing (but not for long). Does anyone know of a similar product? The 2920 is (was) a uC for real-time digital processing of analog signals. It has a mux'd A/D on the front end, 25 bit ALU, specialized instruction set for signal processing, on-chip EPROM and D/A and DMUX with sample&holds on the outputs, and some scratchpad memory. Anyone out there in a similar bind? Please send me any leads by mail. Thanks aplenty. -- *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR FAVORITE DISCLAIMER *** ------------------------------------------------------------------ David T.
