I have just seen a request on the net regarding commercial Neural Nets. In fact such a net is available in the UK. The research work was done at Brunel University (Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) in London (UK) and later a company in Oxford (UK) was licensed to productize it and sell it. It is, currently, installed at several sites including Hammersmith Hospital (London), British Telecom, and several DoD sites. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the firm but if you need more information please contact: Dr. John Stoneham Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Brunel University Uxbridge Middlesex England Good luck and let us know what happened. I have heard of a neural net product called MacBrain (I don't know who makes it) which runs on a Macintosh. I would be interested in hearing from people who use this product in the "real world". ------- ------- Brian M.
