CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: IEEE INFORMATION THEORY SOCIETY PAPER AWARD Nominations are sought for the 1989 IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award. This award will be given for an outstanding publication in the field of interest* of the Society appearing anywhere during the preceding two calendar years (1987-1988). Nominations should consist of a complete citation for the publication, a brief description of the contribution of the paper, and a statement indicating why the paper is deserving of the Award.
