I am currently an undergraduate in Cognitive Science at UCSD studying neuralk networks under Professor David Zipser. My partner and I are in the process of starting our neural net project on forcasting. So far we have found the task rather large in domain and varied in forcasting possibilities. Right now, we're stuck in deciding how to represent the inputs and outputs, but more importantly how far should we carry our prediction process. I understand that after a certain time period the system will achieve suggestions, references, opinions in dealing with this project. We would also like to get ahold of any meteorologists within the San Diego vicinity to talk about weather prediction basically.
