[comp.ai.neural-nets] Convergence of Backpropagation Algorithm

I am looking for information on the current progress in studying the 
convergence problem of the backpropagation alogrithm which is used to train 
multiple-layered neural networks. Any references on positive, negative, 
experiemental and theoretical results are wellcome. I will broadcast the
