I am looking for simple stopping criteria for the termination of annealing. One of them is to terminate annealing when cost improvement seen across "three" successive temperatures is "sufficiently" small. Are there any bounds, based I guess more on experience, to these parameters (how many succesive temperatures do I have to check? how small is small?). Thank you yannis androula@helium.ecn.purdue.edu

I would like to know how I can incorporate memory in my Simulated Annealing. I would like to be able to "teach" my system whether there exist "good" or "bad" moves and therfore exclude future use of the bad ones. I guess that this would save a lot of time. I would appreciate any help, thank you yannis androula@helium.ecn.purdue.edu
