I am going to be writing an article on neural networks in the near
future and am looking for some background information. I have been
following comp.ai.neural-nets for a while now but have not seen any
references to good introductory level articles/books on neural nets. I'm
not sure how much is available yet, since it is a relatively new field,
however I would appreciate any information you could give me. Please
respond through e-mail and I will be happy to summarize what I recieve
to the net (if there are any articles available through the net (Usenet/
Bitnet/whatevernet) please let me know).
I have read a bit about a particular NN 'application' called NETtalk.
Any further information on it, or anything similar would also be
appreciated (NETtalk seems like a good illustration of some of the
capabilities of NNs).
Thanks, Rob.
