[comp.ai.neural-nets] Neural net simulators in Public domain?

knareddy@umn-d-ub.D.UMN.EDU (krishna nareddy) (09/27/89)

Hi,

Does anybody know of any neural net simulators available for distribution
in Public Domain. I know about Rochester Connectionist Simulator available
from cs.rochester.edu. I am looking for more, if available.

I'm interested in something on UNIX. If somebody knows about implementations
for Mac or PC, that would be of interest too.

Please e-mail your responses.

Any additional info. such as your experience with that package/site available at etc. is welcome.

Thanks,
krishna

Your looking on simulators?
We got one ...
It's a PC based Program for bachpropagatin networks, not ordered in
layers, only loop-free networks required.
Trainig is done with several numerical methods, including higher
nonlinear methods.
Program includes network layout with mouse input, documented training,
individual input patters for single step simulation (sounds difficult)
Program requires mouse, EGA or VGA card, havn't tried it on other
displays.
