I am looking for references to journal papers, conference proceedings or texts that deal with the use and/or implementation of artificial neural nets in an object-oriented language or system. To date the only reference that I have found has been "NeuralAgents - A Frame of Mind" by Adams and Nabi in the OOPSLA '89 proceedings. I would be very surprised if this were the only work that has been done on applying OOPS to neural nets and vice versa. Can anyone here point me to some other work that might have been done in this area. Also, if anyone is doing work in this area, I would be very interested in corresponding.
