Name: Demetrakis (James) Demetriou Phone #: (312) 632-5348 I am trying to simulate the Neocognitron from the paper of Kunihiko Fukushima "A Neural Network for Visual Pattern Recognition", IEEE, COMPUTER magazine,March 1988. Has anyone done a simulation program for the Neocognitron or something similar. The purpose for this simulation is to verify that the Neocognitron model works and then I am going to implement it with digital hardware, instead of analog that has been done before.
