About a year or so ago AI Expert began running a series of articles by Maureen Caudill called "Neural Networks Primer". In these articles she refers to a program which trains an ADALINE unit using the Delta rule to recognize visual patterns on a 5x5 retina. This program is available through the AI Expert Bulletin Board Service or Compuserve, neither of which I am a member of. I thought that I read somewhere that AI Expert was somehow connected (organizationally) to comp.ai but I may be wrong. Anyhow, I am interested in getting a copy of this program. I don't know the name of the file(s) but if anyone knows what I am talking about and has a copy of this would you please e-mail it to me asap. Thanx in advance for any help. You do not have to be a member to access AI Experts bulletin board. They have several dial-in lines located throughout the country. You can just dial one up. The numbers are listed near the front of the magazine, where they list all the editors, etc. I do not have a copy around anymore, so I cannot tell you the numbers... ************************************************************ * Bowden Wise (wiseb@turing.cs.rpi.edu) * * RPI Computer Science Department, Troy, NY 12180 * ************************************************************
