I am interested in using neural networks for the following purposes: 1) analyzing computer system performance, either with a view to solve or prevent problems 2) capacity planning (Capacity planning is the art and science of building models of computer systems to predict the amount of computer hardware necessary to support your workloads while getting acceptable response time and throughput.) Is anyone doing any work in this area? Can anyone point me to references in this area? Does anyone have comments on how suitable neural nets would be for applications in this arena? -- Mott Given @ Defense Logistics Agency Systems Automation Center, DSAC-TMP, Bldg. 27-1, P.O.
