[comp.ai.neural-nets] Neural nets and robotics

Can anyone give me any references to the use of neural nets in the area
of robotics? Is there any practical work being done using this approach
as yet?

Ruth,

Have a look at the proceedings for the International Joint
Conference on Neural Networks 1989 (IJCNN 89). There is a whole
section on robotics I believe. Try also the First IEEE
Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems - Denver
1987. This last one has definetely the section in robotics
(maybe you can also look at the most recent proceedings of this
last conference).
