I am doing research (leading to a PhD) and have come across an abstract for a paper that may prove helpful to me. The title of the paper is; Remaking the Neural Net: A Perceptron Logic Unit The paper was presented at the First Annual Meeting of the International Neural Network Society 1988. Please don't tell me that it was published in the journal "Neural Networks" vol 1 number 1 1988 supplement p143, because all that appears in the journal on p.143 is the abstract. The author is M. Van Alstyne who was/is at MIT lincoln laboratory, RM M209D, Box 73, Lexington, MA 02173. I have written to the author personally and have received no reply as yet. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of the complete paper or knows where I can find M. Van Alstyne I would appreciate it if you would send me the information by email. Ronald J. Gaynier
