As part of a third year project I have to get "up to speed" on neural
nets ( the idea being that I can then go out into the research world without
having to go through a long preparation course).
I'm interested to hear from anyone who can give me an accurate account
of NNs and what they are trying to do with them.
Also I d love to hear from anyone who has fun programs for a unix os
or vax vms which have an NN flavour ( at present I'm trying to program this vax
to learn to play Tic-Tac-Toe by the strengthening and weakening of node's in a
binary tree).
Generally I'm looking for any info on neural nets but please remember
that I've only started this project two months ago so I still know relatively
little about them.
