[This message will selfdestruct in...] A few months ago I posted a preliminary version of my TeX Preview program. There were quite a few responses then, so I will now post a much more recent version to net.sources.mac. The program is still a TeX-80 previewer, but the final TeX-82 preview program will have exactly the same User Interface as the now (to be) posted application, so I will post it anyway (as a demonstration). Besides TeX Preview itself are posted a MacWrite document containing a little more info, and a DVI-file (courtesy Alon Rozendaal) with some pages text and some pages with formula's. There will be five postings in total: 1. MacWrite doc. 2. TeX Preview part 1 3. TeX Preview part 2 4. DVI file part 1 5. DVI file part 2 If you are a TeX user, or you know people using TeX, please download the files from net.micro.mac and let me know what you/they think of it. TeX Preview has an icon of its own. If it does not show up then eject the disk and reboot. Then the icon should appear. If not, try setting the bundle bit with FEdit or rebooting with option and command both pressed. TeX-82? At SARA we are still using TeX-80 (sigh!). Conversion of TeX Preview to TeX-82 should not be difficult nor a lot of work. My problem is that I have no possibility to create TeX-82 DVI-files myself. So, if you would like me to convert TeX Preview to TeX-82 then please download a small TeX-82 DVI-file from your system (may I suggest a font like Times Roman 10 points and some formula's?), convert it with BinHex4 and mail it to me. I would be much obliged if you could also send me by 'normal' mail a photocopy of the printed DVI-file. Note: our UNIX system will be closed down 1-Sep-85, so please respond before that date. Afterwards we will have access to EARN, and so still have access to USENET, but I don't know yet how you can reach me from USENET. Thanks very much in advance!
