Although the information storage capacity of a discrete Hopfield neural network is 2^N, the "memory" capacity is O(N/ln N)? Is there any biological or physical explanation, evidence, correlate, etc. for why the memory increases sub-linearly with neuronal network complexity? Balamurali K. Ambati
